Bernadine H. Layne
Founding Attorney
Attorney Layne is a native of Massachusetts. She graduated from Northeastern University in Boston in 1970. She graduated from Harvard Law School in 1974. She worked for many years with the federal government in Washington, D.C. before relocating to Atlanta, GA where she has been practicing since 1988.
Attorney Layne provides legal services in Personal Injury and Immigration Law. She created the immigration practice because she has personal experience with immigration. Attorney Layne is married to an immigrant, Dr. Edward Layne, a gastroenterologist and native of Barbados. He is currently the Honorary Consul for Barbados in Atlanta.
Attorney Layne offers Personal Injury Legal services to clients in Georgia. She is dedicated to helping people who have been injured due to the negligence of others. She is committed to giving each client the personal attention their case deserves.

Paralegal and Office Manager
Josie wears many hats and will most likely be the first person you talk with about immigration at the Layne Law Group. A native of the Philippines, she brings her knowledge and compassion to her work. She works hard to help our clients understand legal proceedings that are often confusing and always complex. Like Attorney Layne, she understands that Immigration Law affects entire families.
Tiffany Bailey Ojeda
Paralegal – Personal Injury
Tiffany will most likely be the first person you talk with about your personal injury case at the Layne Law Group. Tiffany has been working with personal injury cases for over 15 years. She understands the complexity of the law and she also understands the emotions and challenges faced by people injured in an accident.
Patricia (Trish) Adler
Translator, Paralegal – Immigration
Trish is a translator for both personal injury and immigration. She is also an immigration paralegal for Layne Law Group.
Trish grew up in California. She spoke Spanish from an early age due to the influence of her father who was born in Spain. Her heritage is not just from Spain, but many European countries. As a result, she has become linguist and translator proficient in 4 languages, with Spanish as her preferred language. She has taught English as a second language to people from many South American and European countries.
